Our Mission

Families United for Equity was founded with the mission to provide assistance, advocacy, and empowerment to families of both children and adults with developmental disabilities. We work tirelessly to create an inclusive and nurturing environment where these individuals can thrive and where their families can find the support, services, and resources that promote the highest quality of life.

Through our various initiatives,

FUFE works to improve the California Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) services and support system. FUFE also actively continues to work on initiatives that address criminal justice reform for individuals who may have a developmental disability. Our focus is ensuring that the system works for ALL individuals and their families who have historically been faced with barriers to service access and equity.
